Garment Assistance Guidelines (United States)

Effective Immediately

Brylan’s Feat Foundation is committed to ensuring children with lymphedema have access to medically necessary custom compression garments. The following guidelines apply to all U.S.-based recipients requesting assistance for custom garments.

First-Time Recipients

Financially eligible first-time recipients may receive:

  • Two (2) sets of custom garments per affected extremity or area at no cost.

This initial support is intended to ensure proper garment rotation, hygiene, and therapeutic effectiveness.

Subsequent Garments (After Initial Sets)

After the first set of garments, recipients become eligible for replacement garments every 4–6 months, based on medical need.

All subsequent garment requests will be processed through a Brylan’s Feat Foundation partner Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider.

The DME provider will issue a quote based on:

  • Insurance coverage (if applicable), or

  • Retail/private pay pricing.

Families may then choose one of the following options:

  1. Pay the DME provider the full quoted amount.

  2. Enter into a payment plan directly with the DME provider.

  3. Apply for Financial Hardship Assistance through Brylan’s Feat Foundation.

Financial Hardship Assistance

Families applying for Financial Hardship Assistance should note:

  • Approval is not guaranteed.

  • Assistance may not cover 100% of the cost of garments.

  • Additional documentation may be required.

  • Recipients who utilize hardship assistance may be required to submit a new application prior to future garment requests.

Ongoing Eligibility Timeline

All financial assistance recipients — including those receiving hardship assistance — are subject to the same eligibility timeline:

  • New garments may be requested every 4–6 months.

This timeline applies regardless of payment method.

Brylan’s Feat Foundation reserves the right to review, update, and determine eligibility based on individual circumstances and available funding.
